What We Believe
We have five Core Beliefs which are an adaptation of the Nicaea Creed and the Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Alliance. We have six Core Values.
Our Core Beliefs
About the Bible - That God inspired people to write the Bible and that we must measure everything by it.
About Jesus Christ - That He is the Son of God who was born of a virgin, Mary, and died on the Cross for our sins. He came back to life and went to Heaven where He is in control of all things. He will visibly return to judge the living and the dead.

About the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God who can live in us and give us the power and spiritual gifts to make us like Jesus.
About Christians - They are people who have admitted that they are sinners, accepted that Jesus died on the Cross for their sin, received God’s forgiveness and received the Holy Spirit to make them brand new.
About Judgement - God wants everyone to go to Heaven, but each person must make his or her own choice to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved from eternal judgement.
Our Core Values
- That the Bible should be the foundation of all our belief and practice (2 Timothy 3 v 16-17)
- That the Holy Spirit and all the Gifts should operate freely in the Church (1 Thessalonians 5 v 17-19 and 1 Corinthians 14 v 26)
- That all business and social interaction should be conducted in a culture of kindness and mutual respect (Ephesians 4 v 29-32)
- That all leaders should "love the flock under their care and be prepared to lay their lives down for it" (John 10 v 11-12, Philippians 2 v 3-8 and Philippians 2 v 19-21)
- That all members should have a healthy respect for those whom the Lord has appointed and which the Church has ordained to "rule over them and give an account for their souls" (Hebrews 13 v 17)
- That when we honour God in our finances he will "open the windows of heaven" and "shut the door of the devourer" (Malachi 3 v 8-12)
